The structure and internal organization of ANR is defined in its statute.
The ANR is supervised by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and is located in the capital city ofWarsaw.
The ANR comprises the President’s Office, 11 Regional Offices and 5 Regional Branches, and is managed by the President.
Candidates for the President and Vice-President of the ANR are selected in a way of open and competitive recruitment.
The President of the Agricultural Property Agency is appointed by the Prime Minister upon the motion of the Minister of Agriculture.
The Vice-President of the Agricultural Property Agency is appointed by the Minister of Agriculture upon the motion of the ANR President.
The Vice-President, directors of the Departments of Presidents’ Office and directors of Regional Offices are the President’s executives responsible for the range of activity determined in the organizational regulation.
The President appoints and recalls the directors of the Departments of Presidents’ Office, ANR Chief Accountant and directors of Regional Offices as well as, upon their motions, their Deputies and Chief Accountants.
The Minister of Agriculture submits the annual report of ANR activity to the Polish Parliament.
